Stetson Hills is a beautiful foothill community with Sonoran desert foothills views all around. It offers lots of great walking trails, large amounts of open areas, desert washes (which many homes back up to) and a few pocket parks within the community. Even though Stetson Hill may seem like a relatively young community being completed in 2003, by Arizona standards it is a mature community, meaning the more long term residents and more mature landscaping. It also mean that some of the homes are now needing updated interiors features such as carpet or kitchens compared to some of the newer communities nearby.
Stetson Hills School in located within the community and students from kindergarten through the 8th grade can walk to school. According to their school report card,Stetson Hills is an excelling school. High School students are attending Sandra Day O’Conner which also has a rating of excelling by the AZ Department of Education and is conventionally located just to east of the subdivision.
